Encounter with the Lord

Truly God is so good. He always let opportunities to come in order to reflect and recall His goodness in my life. A chance where I could communicate, meditate on his divine p[presence. It is a time of silence, of searching peace and introspection. I was busy and restless this past days, unable to focus, to see things in their proper perspective. This is the opportunity now, this is time where I can be alone with the Alone, a chance to dialogue with my creator and to be with Him as my Father...

Grace: Lord grant me the grace that my whole life may become an apostolate and a mission... and that my life will testify to the power of your resurrection which brings forth a new creation and a new world.

Prayer

God of Live and mercy, you let your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ suffered , died and nailed on the cross but with your great love, He gave us hope and consolation by his resurrection and ascension in your heavenly glory, lead us also to be resurrected into new life in the midst of our sufferings and death into sin. Fill me with enough confidence and insight on how I could make a covenent with you in full commitment and love. Let your Holy Spirit guide me and inspire me to love you with all my heart. Amen.

Grace: Lord grant me the grace that I may treasure in my heart the loving reminder that your sufferings were necessary before your glory.... that the joy and power of your resurrection may vanish the darkness of fear and despair and that your resurrection may bring forth in me and in others a new vision and new attitude in life.

Ever living Lord, by the resurrection of your son, our Lord Jesus Christ, you bring forth new life, a new hope and new attitude in our lives. Lord grant the this day may I receive and taste the wonders of the joys of your resurrection, that I may articulate and proclaim your goodness. Amen.

Loving Father, you sent your only begotten Son to be with us . Grant that this day that I may deeply understand the value of what you have shown to us. May I persevere in following your Son, though it is a difficult and it takes a lot of sacrifices but in my little way may I serve you Father like Jesus did to humanity. Fill me with courage to persevere and humble heart to accept your divine will. Amen.

Heavenly father, you are the worker of wonders and miracles in my life, my hope and my protector. Grant me this day an authentic speaking heart that I may articulate your goodness in to my life. Let your Holy Spirit be my inspiration this day as I reflect and go into the deep of myself as a creature whom you lovingly created. Fix my mind to all the experiences of my past, my present and also to discern about the future. Show me the beauty of my experiences, my history, and my memories. I give all to you the longings of my heart and you alone can understand. Amen.

Grace: “ Lord, grant me the grace to experience you in a profound way during these days of prayer and solitude so that the power of the Eucharist which I am privileged to partake may leave its mark in my life.”

Ever clorious Father, creator of all things visible and invisible, fill my life with appreciation and love of creation, man, plants, animals. Grant me to this day the grace of silence and peace so that I may meditate and reflect the different things you have done in my life both ugly and beautiful.

May this first day of our Retreat, I may lay down and settle bare my life through your Holy Silence. May my prayers, adorations and meditations be fruitful and may I find meaning to the events of my life. Amen.

Loving father, healer and physician of weary souls, grant me healing of body and soul. Touch my wounded heart with your compassionate and loving heart. Revive and circulates the vigor of life and strength in my inner being to face the challenges and pains of life. Embrace my whole body with your comforting Spirit so that every part of me will be healed.

Envelope my entire life with your light, cure the defects of my senses so that I may truly see, hear, feel, and taste the goodness of your love. Though I’m not worthy of being your follower but with your healing hands you can make me whole again.Amen.

Grace: "Lord, grant me the grace that I may be in touch honestly and sincerely with my sinfulness.... to recognize the need to be reconciled with You, and to experience the renewing grace of your mercy."

Most humble and meek of heart Lord Jesus Christ, through your most Holy Name, I lift up to you my sins. You are the source of forgiveness, ever merciful like what you did to Mary Magdalene, to those who approached you in faith. To you Lord, I'm pleading to your gentle and compassionate heart to have mercy on me a poor sinner. I was drowned by the many undesirable attitudes and habits in my life. Lord, I commend to you to cleans me and purify my heart. Amen

O Virgin Immaculate, Mother of our loving Savior our Lord Jesus Christ , by the mantle of your love to you I entrust my life to be my spiritual mother. Your life of humility and simplicity has made our salvation through your Son, Jesus a reality. Teach me to be humble in everything I do so that my transformation to new life may be possible. May your intercession, guide me to holiness by means of the virtue of faith, hope and love.

As a mother of all who believe in your Son, may I follow your virtues especially the virtue of chastity, poverty and obedience. Dear mother, comfort me as your son and protect me from all snares of evil. Today you will be my mother and to the rest of my life. Amen.

" Lord in the depths of my heart, I longed for love. Keep me safe in the bosom of your heart which the world cannot give. I'm living in fear and confusion for I'm not secured to the surrounding where I live. I love you Lord."

At this moment, your child is in the midst of many decisions . Send your Holy spirit that I may truly decide what vocation I will embrace in my life. Give me a keen understanding and clear mind to think and discerning heart to ponder the events of my life. Give me light to the path where I should go and guidance to track the journey of a genuine vocation.

Fill me with courage and strength to follow your direction and not be mislead by the many crossroads I will track. I entrust my life to you as I journey to this road called LIFE. Amen.

Ever living God, as I kneel before you.

I believe that you are really present in this altar, living, loving and caring to all who will come before your loving presence.

My Lord and my God, How I should thank you for this moment that I'm in front of you, praising and listening to your divine presence. You took the form of a Bread, just to dwell with us eternally.

O loving Lord, your love for us is eternal , How should pay this immeasurable gift and mystery you have given to us?You are so humble that you pay the price of dying to the cross and so humble enough to be hidden in the Sacred Host and to all tabernacle of the world.

Unworthy I am before your presence, cleans me and wipe every stains of sin, anger and inequities. I love you Lord with all my heart. Teach me to do your will ... Amen.

Ever loving God, have mercy on me.

by your compassion blot out my offenses.

Wash me by your precious blood and cleans my entire being.

I'm aware of the sinfulness I committed

and all the evil I've done

I was born in guilt and a sinner was I concieved.

Lord, in the secret of my heart , you knew all things.

In the middle of the night I call to You my Loving Lord, who is full of compassion and mercy. You are the source of all goodness and power. In contrite heart I lift up to you everything I have done this entire day; to all the things I neglected to do which harm my relationship to you. The afflictions I made to my brothers and sisters that created divisions.

Grant me your peace so that I may do your will in the spirit of joy. I'm sorry of not being good to you and to others, lead me back to your compassionate heart now and forever. Amen
