Prayer For Mercy

Ever loving God, have mercy on me.

by your compassion blot out my offenses.

Wash me by your precious blood and cleans my entire being.

I'm aware of the sinfulness I committed

and all the evil I've done

I was born in guilt and a sinner was I concieved.

Lord, in the secret of my heart , you knew all things.

Purify my heart, make it clean.

Create a pure heart in me God

Put a steadfast spirit within me.

Do not cast me away in your Holy presence

but accept me as your own.

Give me again the joy of your love and sustain me.

Make me an instrument of your love and peace.

This is ask O Lord... through Christ your Son, united with You and the Holy Spirit

one God forever and ever. Amen.
